Food: Shake Shack On A Friday In Dubai

The Finest Food Chain I Think?

The first time I learned about this superb fast food is from the movie Something Borrowedthat I and my wife watched some time last year. The film was shot entirely in New York which is basically where Shake Shack originated.

This food chain is so far the best that I have experienced, beating those popular and leading food chain brands. You know what those leading chains I am talking about are, a’right?

What I like about Shake Shack is not just their fries, burgers, hot dogs, and sundaes, but also their presentation.  They are kind of a minimalist company.  They’re not into rainbow-like, colorful kind of food chain that usually aims to attract young consumers.  Their stalls really stand out.  They have that uniqueness in them.  They were able to break that monotonous and typical presentation of a food chain.

Its meaty and juicy tastes make Shake Shack burgers even more appetizing.  Its sauce which is a bit oily definitely makes your munching moment deliciously messy.  But it’s the very reason why their burgers are superb.  You can’t experience that dryness in your throat.

If Pringles has this phrase, “Once you pop, you can’t stop”, Shake Shack should also have this, “Once you bite, you will eat it all outright”. 🙂 The goodness of their burgers is channeled from mouth to your stomach in an instant and gives you that full satisfaction.  A little pricey though but the great taste justifies it.

The freshly cut and perfectly fried potatoes  is just simply gratifying.  French fries is my son’s favorite and this made him like french fries even more with its creamy cheese topping. 🙂

In the US, they have wine and beer to serve to thirsty customers.  But here in Dubai, and since its store is systematically located in Mall of the Emirates – home of the world’s largest indoor ski, they have this sundae which is called Ski Dubai that can truly complete your meal.

1st Anniversary

Shake Shack Dubai was launched a year ago and this very month of April is their first anniversary.  The first in the Middle East and the first international branch outside the US. The company is so young, it was established in July 2004, but what I see personally is that, this is a company that could stay and grow even further because of its impeccable service and great tasting menus.  They will continue to entertain their customers like how they entertained my son, as shown in the pic below. LOL!

Just to add on how unique and why this food chain is different from others, is that I think, they are the only chain that is having live web cam feed video of a long queue of hungry loyal customers in Madison Square Park in New York.  The video can be seen on their website

It’s a kind of food chain, brand, fast food resto or whatever you may call it; that is worth sharing and recommending to friends.  I know they’ll keep on coming back like what we will become now. 🙂  If I have to rate it, 1 to 5? I’ll give them 10. LOL! Have a shake shack day!

  2. Filman, that chow sure looks tasty, and the lighting on your photos make it look downrigh t golden1 There’s a chain in California and a couple of other U.S. states called In-And-Out-Burger. VERY simple menu, but everything on it is a classic. They have great crews that work hard and have a great attitude. THE best burger chain according to the locals. Shake Shake looks great, too.

Ski Dubai is an indoor ski resort, the first ever in the Middle East, having 22,500 square meters of fascinating indoor ski area. It is located inside the Mall of the Emirates in Dubai, one of the largest and prestigious shopping malls in the world. >>>> <<<<
