Movie: Adam Sandler, Worst Actor? What?!
Jack and Jill – Worst To Critics But A Success Financially
Adam Sandler is one of my top five best Hollywood comedians. He’s my idol. I have watched almost all of his hit movie. I love how natural he acts, how he stupendously cracks joke and all of him as a comedy actor. I even made an almost forgotten promise, to watch all of his upcoming movies including Jack and Jill which was by the way, not our priority of watching that time it opened. LOL! It went out along “Immortals” which we chose to watch.
But I was completely shocked reading the news that Jack and Jill racked up all the “worsts awards” at the recent 32nd Golden Raspberry Awards (Razzies). It was like, what?! Are you kidding me? 🙁
These are the worst awards:
Worst Picture, Worst Actor (Sandler)
Worst Actress (Sandler as Jill)
Worst Director
Worst Screenplay
Worst Supporting Actor (Al Pacino, playing himself)
Worst Supporting Actress (David Spade as Monica)
Worst Screen Couple (Sandler and either Katie Holmes, Pacino or himself)
Worst Screen Ensemble
Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-off or Sequel (remake/rip-off of Glen or Glenda).
I can’t discuss the movie I haven’t watch yet but I am certain of watching it, now that Sony Pictures Home Entertainment released Jack and Jill on DVD and Blu-ray on March 6, 2012. Hopefully I could make my own full review of the movie and make validations of these completely funny awards they’ve got.
I know, Adam Sandler, Katie Holmes, Al Pacino and the rest of the casts and crews, are having big laughs despite all these after doubling its $79 million budget as their income.
This simply means, not all viewers are usually basing reviews and critics if we have to look at the income figures. With that, I’ll be watching it, soon! Very soon! 🙂
