Our Own Way Of Egg Hunting
Eggs are given on Easter Sunday as a direct representation of that resurrection and life beginning anew, as Christians believe it did for Jesus following his ascension into heaven. The symbolism also indicates that as the bird emerges from its shell, so did Jesus from his tomb.

Egg Hunting In the Bedroom
Nope, I didn’t explain all the above lines to our 2 year old son when we had our own simple way of egg hunting, in his bedroom. Yup, in his bedroom. 🙂 I just told him about this yearly church activity/game called egg hunting that I never missed attending when I was a kid like him.
Plastic bottle cap and cut out paper, plastic wire and magazine paper were made as hats, and artificial rope of a wine bottle used as golden hair to decorate our four Easter eggs. This preparation was made Saturday. (Not excited obviously) At least, far away from home in the Philippines, we were still able to celebrate Easter. But it would’ve been better if we attended the early morning Easter service in a Christian church here in Dubai. 🙁
Egg Hunting In My Workplace
But prior to our bedroom egg hunting, we actually had it first in our workplace. Our Christian Indian colleague took the initiative, without our knowledge, of having a quick egg hunting. It happened when we got back at our respective desks from a morning break. An email was forwarded with clues on where the eggs were possibly hidden. To avoid not to jeopardize our work, hurriedly we were able to locate them in just a matter of minutes.
It was a well hard boiled egg. I ate it, of course after taking snaps of it. 🙂
Twas fun! Once again, happy Easter everyone!
