The Story Of Peanuts And Perb
Time To Familiarize Children’s Shows and Movies
My 2-year old son is a bit of a talker at his age. He can utter almost everything he wants to convey. But three weeks after we brought him here in Dubai, we had this little misunderstanding. It seemed like I was so stupid that I was not able to grasp what he was trying to say.
“Tay, lantaw ta peanuts and perb!” (Pa, we’ll watch Peanuts and perb!) What?! “Peanuts and herb?” I said. “No, peanuts and perb” he replied. I really do not know what he meant. To me, it was peanuts and perb or herb. I was thinking of an episode of Snoopy perhaps because of peanuts? And sometimes It sounded like Peenas and perb. It was kinda odd when you are like being yelled with a toddler. LOL!
Grateful With YouTube And A Friend
I tried searching it on YouTube but ended up nothing. After almost an hour of trying to understand and deciphering what he was saying, a friend came and all the inquisitions were put to end. It was Phineas and Ferb! Whew! 🙂
He’s been away from us after my wife and I left him with his grannies back home in the Philippines for two years. There, he’s always like a king sitting on his throne when he’s in front of the TV. He owns the remote control and he’s in command on what channel should everybody be watching.
Here now is totally different for him. He doesn’t have TV and remote control to call his. We seldom got time for TV after work so we only have laptops to entertain ourselves if we’ll find time and in use to communicate our loved ones.
Thanks to You Tube, everything we need to keep him entertained are all there including Peanuts and Perb (Phineas and Ferb). It just so happened we do not know all the shows in Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon. And we’re grateful to our friend who happens to know all these cartoon movies.
