The PicMonkey With Its Full Features
Picnik Renamed To PicMonkey
Finally picmonkey has installed my one of the most favorites, the awaited feature which is the “collage”. Collage is a big help if you want to post many photos on your blog, facebook or any other social networks. You can squeeze your pictures in and without eating much memory that usually affects downloading.
I thought that time when picnik announces its transfer to google+, that I lost a great free photo editing tool. But PicMonkey is here which is basically made based on picnik. I think it is also owned and created by the same people who received millions of dollars after google’s acquisition of picnik.com. If I may say this, what happened was they’re just like renaming picnik to PicMonkey. 🙂
One thing I’ve observed though is that PicMonkey is way way better compared to picnik and to other free photo editing tools on the net. For those who haven’t gone to PicMonkey’s collage feature, below pix will show you some of the basic how to’s.

This is the very homepage of PicMonkey.com. Two icons can be clicked, for editing single photos and for editing or creating a collage. Now, we'll go to collage.

Three icons/functionalities can be chosen once you're inside the collage feature. a. Upload your photos depending on how many frames you have chosen to be filled up. b. Simply just drag the photos to the blank spaces.

Once you've uploaded and dragged your photos, you may go to other functionalities. a. From this one, you can adjust the borders of your collage, its corners and background colors. b. I put the spacing into zero coz I prefer to have no spaces on it. c. To me it seems seamless when pictures are arranged this way. When done, just click save and it will prompt you where to save your collage or upload it directly.

And then I posted my collage to my other blog In The Eyes Of BlackBerry (bbplusses.blogspot.com). These photos by the way were all taken with BlackBerry phone. For your pictures, you can now upload/post it to anywhere you want. 🙂
There goes my photo collage guys using PicMonkey.com. To be honest, I still have to explore so many other functionalities and effects from this cool editing tool.
Just a thought, if PicMonkey.com won’t extend its status to a networking site like that of pinterest and the leading instagram, I’d say that this photo editing tool is again waiting to be bought by a multi-million dollar company like google. I know there are so many alternatives if it happens, but I just find this convenient, easy to use and full with awesomeness and that I pray and hope, PicMonkey will remain available for a long time if not for a lifetime.
