Qatar Airways Named As The World’s Best Airline For Two Years Now

Qatar Airways, World’s Best At The 2012 World Airline Awards Held At Farnborough Air Show

For two consecutive years also, my wife and I chose Qatar Airways when we had our vacations in our home country The Philippines. We always liked Qatar Airways’ food and crew. Though our travel is a bit longer since we need to stopover in Qatar, compared to other competitors such as Emirates Airlines and Etihad Airways which both have direct flights from Dubai and Abu Dhabi respectively to Manila; we still prefer to take Qatar Airways. 🙂
And now we learned this news released by Skytrax World Airline Awards that our favorite choice of airline received the award as world’s best for two years now. Skytrax is a United Kingdom-based consultancy, the public face of Inflight Research Services, which has the largest airline and airport review and ranking site according to wikipedia.
If you notice  the line up of winners, all airlines awarded were all from Asia. Woootwoot!

Kudos to Qatar Airways! With this, no reason why we will not travel again with Qatar Airways on our vacation come December. But as an expat working and making a living in Dubai, UAE, and as a future passenger of these two airlines, my congratulations also to them for winning Best Inflight Entertainment Airline for Emirates and Best First Class Airline for Etihad .
