The reason why I can’t go to countries I like to visit is obviously financial. But this doesn’t stop me from preparing a list. Thanks to Jimmy for hosting this week’s BC Bloggers Meme and for bringing this timely topic. I will be able to share this to you now guys the “5 Countries I Want To Visit Before I Retire” which I have actually made years back. This list is quite a long list actually but I have selected the following which are my top 5.
I really don’t know when all these will be realized but I am just being optimistic here. Who knows?! 🙂
So here’s my top 5 countries to visit. (Not in order)
INDIA

This country has a lot of wonderful things to offer. First is their rich culture. Though I am a bit exposed already to Indian culture since Dubai has a big number of Indian expats. Second is their rich heritage and to name one is the beautiful Taj Mahal in Agra.
MALDIVES

This small island nation is just so scintillating with its paradise-like beaches all over. Peace of mind can be truly experienced in this country. While writing this, I am actually seeing myself there with my wife and my son, me as half naked, wearing the best spectacles, sunblock, lying on a native bench listening to nothing but the sounds of the Indian Ocean waves. How cool that would be? Whew!
BRAZIL

I have been watching Rio Carnival on TV. I think, Rio’s Carnival is the most frequented carnival in the world among tourists. I love to see those beautiful Brazilians in person. (Hmmm) LOL! And everything about Brazil. 🙂
KENYA

My son’s name is a Nigerian inspired. Ilori, which means “special treasure”. But I opted not to include Nigeria on my list, instead Kenya. I want to visit its vast National Park for Safari. Perhaps I will meet Alex the lion (of Madagascar movie) there. 🙂
USA particularly the State of NEW YORK

And who doesn’t want to go to the U.S of A? Going there will be my total dream realization especially to the State of New York. I want to feel and experience how truly fast paced is the New York life. 🙂
