Bill My Parents
Cool Stuff
While checking some of my blogger friends’ blog, I happened to read this cool stuff called BillMyParents. A new way of monitoring your children’s spending habit. By giving them this card, they can purchase anything, anywhere that accepts MasterCard.
This is not the same thing to that “pain in the a**” credit cards because this isn’t a credit card, but a debit card. LOL! For every purchase being made, it will automatically notify you and you can monitor, track and teach them whether the purchase was right or wrong. It’s that simple and it’s that cool.
It is also safe and free from identity theft or any other cyber fraud. You don’t have to worry about them losing cash because what they have on their pocket is just this card.
Wait, if you are not yet a parent, you can share BillMyParents too to your big sis or big bro or friends who have children. You can share this with your own blog, your email, your twitter, your facebook or any other social networking you may have. Remember you’ll “get $10 for giving $10”. 🙂
Cheers!
I heard about this too. I’m a fan of debit cards, but I’m not very sure about this one just yet. hehe 🙂
I am already a parent but my kids are yet too young for this.
First time I’ve heard of this. Interesting…this is probably good for older teens who are more responsible.
Hi Aileen, if you still don’t have teens, you can also share the idea to some of your friends who have teenager children.
This is interesting. Easy to account the spending of your children because the bill goes back to you and at the same time you teach the young ones to be responsible.
Absolutely true Thess! And in this way, you will know or you can gauge your children’s discipline in relation to saving and good purchases. But to be honest, this depends how big is our income also. Who knows, someday! 🙂
My son is only two years old so he is too young for this though he already have his own savings account. Maybe in the future so I will remember this.
this is great but my son is too young for this but perhaps I’ll need this in the future. btw, can please get rid of the pop up? I had problem getting rid with it when I open your blog eh..
Sorry for that pop ups Rosemarie. I know, it’s kinda annoying. I have been looking answers/ways how to disable it but Bidvertiser are so clever. I can’t find any disable function in my Bivertiser account. 🙁 Perhaps you can tell me how to disable it? Thanks!
Yippey! I found the answer now Rosemarie! I hope, you’re no longer getting the pop ups… 🙂 And I hope slider ads are okay with you.
Thanks much!
Uy, thanks for re-posting this topic kuya 🙂
Visiting from CE Aug21.
Yup, I thank you Jhari… If not with your post, I wouldn’t be able to share this also. 🙂
This is interesting. 😀 Still, for every advantages a thing can give, it also has its corresponding disadvantages.
this is the same here in abu dhabi. we use debit card to purchase online and you will be notified with every transaction it goes thru.
so do i Postcardtrail, i purchase using my debit card. the only difference with this BillMyParents card, is that you as a parent, have the control on how much amount you are going to credit for your children to use. 🙂
Good thing I don’t have a teen yet. I think this is the way to future. Soon we won’t need cash anymore so whether we like it or not we have to get used using a card when shopping.
interesting!
Sounds interesting but have to check on the details to see if it’s worth having.
Seems nice. My sister and I don’t have kids yet so this just looks good as a proposition for me. 😀 Btw, may I inform you that there’s this nasty popup on your page that came out when I was about to comment. It kindof distracts. :/
Will check this out ’cause I know it’ll be useful among my siblings. Notification is soooo important when sharing accounts.
