Let’s Move & Let’s Love

Long Overdue Honeymoon

Now that my wife finally got the job she wanted, which I have shared in my previous post about her job hunting, the plan to have our loooooonnnngggg overdue honeymoon will now be back on track. LOL! Yes, honeymoon.

It’s been almost 4 years now since we got married, and because of non-negotiable commitments at work and several other priorities, we kept on postponing our honeymoon. We have no definite place yet where to spend it, but I think we need to do it sooner, even just somewhere not too far away from where we live now.

I mentioned in my previous post also the 5 countries I want to visit before I retire but those can be done later.  I want to materialize first our honeymoon. Let’s say the first phase of our honeymoon.  Haha!  I just think this should happen in phases (hopefully) to compensate it’s being long overdue.  There will be like, introduction, proper/climax and final honeymoons. :)

I would love to bring my lovely wife and our 3-year old son (yup, we already have a son and another one coming out in February next year), to a place where we can refresh our minds, away from the hustle and bustle of Dubai.  Some place that would allow us to focus on strengthening our love more and moving  it to the highest level. :)

A place somewhere in UAE similar to this one would be great. :) Photo Courtesy of: DubaiCity.com

Is the place above refreshing and romantic enough? I am also dying to do this with my family somewhere in Palawan, Dumaguete, Cebu or Boracay in the Philippines. :)

As what Benjamin Franklin said: “Life’s tragedy is that we get old too soon and wise too late”. So Let’s Move and Let’s Love.

  1. Try Bohol if you have the time to visit the Philippines for your honeymoon. The beaches are not only beautiful but there are more sights to see like chocolate hills, man-made forest, tarsiers and there are grand resorts where you can enjoy like Eskaya. We stayed at Panglao island nature resort which was also splendid. Lunch and dinner buffet was free :)

    Good luck!

  2. Hi Farida, that is actually a very good suggestion I have to take note. Aside from I am a bit familiar of Bohol, it’s also very near to our place. Yup Panglao Island has beautiful resorts. :) Will be posting then if it happens, hopefully!

  3. Sooo romantic indeed. Haven’t really travelled anywhere this year, except for the super brief visit to our Tacloban site for work. There’s still 3 months in 2012, maybe there’s still some time to travel. :)

  5. Wow! Glad to hear that! You both deserved that long overdue honeymoon. I also heard from friends that Palawan is a must place to visit in the Philippines. After all, it’s in the eight wonders of the world. Am also thinking to visit the place soon.

Good Luck to the both of you! Have fun! :)

  6. very nice that you’re still thinking of your long overdue honeymoon despite having a kid and one more coming up :-) it’s really important for couples to think of the importance of having this getaway by themselves… or in your case, with your son.
