Facebook Is Asking A Government ID And Locked My Account: Updated
This Is Absolutely Crazy Funny
I was supposed to hit the sack 30 minutes ago, (it’s 3:15 am on the dot while typing these) not when all of a sudden, Facebook locked my account. They said something like, “someone may have used/accessed my account”. Wow! FB suggested me to access my account in Firefox but still I cannot open it.
I clicked continue and this window really pissed me off.
Hoping that my account will be back in an instant, I submitted my passport copy, covering the vital informations in there. After which I received a confirmation in my email and a request to change my password which I immediately comply. But still I can’t access my account. Perhaps they still have to investigate my passport or what.
I just hope, they will give me back my account or else, I won’t be opening a new one anymore. I will be among those who will return to basics perhaps and that I will be like forgetting that social media exist? Whew!
Update:
Okay, so here’s an update of my FB account being locked. Fortunately I am now able to access my account once again after less than 10 hours I think? I followed what they told me to do so, by logging in from another browser whom they suspected of another user. I went to my firefox and again they’ve asked me to create a new password and now everything’s okay. What a relief!
Facebook has been part to all of us now, yeah? 🙂
