How To Prepare A Delicious Baked Salmon
One Of My Favorites
I love eating fish, may it be fried, souped, or raw like that of Japanese’s famous sashimi and the Filipino’s version kinilaw. But this time I want to share with you how to bake salmon.
But before going further, did you know, according to wikipedia, that salmon are anadromous: they are born in fresh water, migrate to the ocean, then return to fresh water to reproduce? How cool is that?! 🙂
Okay, enough with our little trivia and we’ll proceed.
Salmon, known by its healthy content i.e. omega 3 fatty acids (healthy fats), high protein and vitamin D is everybody’s favorite, I guess. 🙂 That is why, in this D-I-Y post, let me share with you my own version of preparing a delicious baked salmon. Though I like the other styles of preparing salmon dish, I prefer doing the baked salmon because it is so fast and easy. The ingredients for this are so common and are readily available from supermarkets. And there can never be any healthier way of cooking salmon than cooking it oil free. Agree?!
Ingredients:
Any size of sliced salmon
Mixed herb and garlic
Salt
Steps:
While thoroughly washing and cleaning the salmon, preheat the oven to the maximum for just few minutes. You may cut the salmon or not. Sprinkled all sides with salt and the mixed garlic herb.
Put it on a cooking tray and put it in the oven and at the same time, adjust the temperature now to 150. Cook it until its color becomes golden brown and then ready to serve.
Yum yum…. There goes my own version of healthy and delicious baked salmon. A mashed potato or just a hot and fragrant jasmine rice will do. And make sure to have your dip ready to make your meal more burrppyy. LOL!
Cheers!
