Why I Also Celebrate Memorial Day?
My Way Of Saying Thank You
“Memorial Day is a US federal holiday wherein the men and women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces are remembered.”
I am not an American, I am a true-blooded Filipino but I say, from now on, I will commemorate Memorial Day. This is my way of saying thank you to all who died during the liberation of my beloved country the Philippines from the oppressor Japanese Empire.
My salute also to those who are still having missions like those who are still in Afghanistan. Seeing US President Barack Obama on the news just hours ago, visiting them, puts Memorial Day a really memorable one. A must for a US President.
Again, thank you for risking all your lives for us all the living, to continue live!
