The Boxtones, Should Be In The International Music Scene
From a music lover’s perspective, a good real song comes from a musician who really knows how to make music. Identifying them need no proper education. By simply listening to a song, you can easily tell what kind of musicians are behind it.
When I received the original album of The Boxtones, recently released locally, entitled In The Pockets of Clowns, I never wasted time and finished all the 9 tracks straight in one listening.
I have made brief feedback/impression on each song, which you can see below:
After All Is Said And Done
very raw and musically rich
a serious rendition
some hint of green day-ish in some parts
love the keyboards
Drive Me Mad
the male/female voice collab is great
the segways and musical composition is cool
love the electro tune somewhere
again, a bit of a green day-ish guitar strums/tune but still cool
an intense one
kinda The Calling at the start 🙂
acoustic guitar is nice
nice melody
very heavy yet tolerable to the ears
the guitar shredding is very clean
with two female vocals belting out, you think it’s Destiny’s Child, a rock band version of them though 🙂
husky-ish voice is very original and great to listen
great voice quality
retainable, good melody
transitions are unpredictable, which is very cool
a good “single” song
retainable, a kind of song which causes last song syndrome 🙂
a good breather song
love the slow rhythm yet still heavy, which is cool
longest and coolest
a good “single” song
retainable
a good breather song (when they’ll be doing their international concert tour, soon) 🙂
great guitar and violin/cielo? combo
