On A Limo To Jamba Juice Souk Madinat Grand Opening

So I was one of the 2 winners of the Arrive-in-Limo contest organized by Jamba Juice Middle East. I have to tell you, it was one helluva fun especially to my kids who really enjoyed the stretched-limo ride from our apartment in Al Satwa to Souk Madinat in Jumeirah and vice versa. It was our first. I have been wondering for the last 8 years how it feels like to be in a limousine, which I only get to see plying in almost every streets of Dubai.
But last Friday, this was materialized, finally. And this was because of Jamba Juice Middle East during the opening of their 2nd branch in Dubai, and 3rd in UAE; which is in Souk Madinat.
Upon arriving, we were greeted by the Jamba Juice ME managers and staff; together with our families, myself and co-winner Mrinali Bhatia did the cutting of ribbon to formally open the branch, minutes past four in the afternoon.
While at the cutting of ribbon, I started to feel sorry for the group of Chinese tourists who happened to be at the entrance of Souk Madinat when we arrived. Perhaps they were expecting to see some dignitaries or Hollywood celebrities, but it was just us, the “one day celebrities.” We disappointed them, in a funny way. I could hear how they chuckled to laughter upon seeing us, which was very funny too for us. LOL!
We could see how the healthy juice and smoothie lovers in Dubai heed the invite by heading to Jamba Juice Souk Madinat and joined in the celebration. Hundreds have made the minimum purchase of AED 30/- and took with them the wow bag and a copy of the fruitful photo ops. Looking at the fruitful diary from the wow bag, with those 50% discount and buy one get one free coupons for one whole year is just more than wow!
We made our first orders too at the branch. For smoothies, we had 1 Banana Berry, 1 Mango-A-Go-Go®, 1 Pomegranate Paradise™ and 1 Strawberry Lemonade™. For our healthy wraps and sandwiches, we had 1 Turkish Delight, 1 Hello Halloumi and 2 Do Gooder Doner.

The Porsche stretched-limo caused a bit of traffic in Souk Madinat when we came. 🙂

It was indeed one of the coolest Fridays we’ve had. I remember when my wife and I had our first smoothies and sandwiches at their first Dubai branch in Wasl Vista in Al Wasl Road last February 25, 2015, I knew then that Jamba Juice will branch out more here in UAE, and it is now gradually getting into that. They won’t just claim to have “the world’s best smoothies” for nothing. Not to discount the fact that they now have over 900 outlets across the world. Beat that!
Noticed the ®’s and the ™’s of most of their smoothies? That simply means, you can only taste them from Jamba and no one can replicate them.
