The 121st Philippine Independence Day promo offer by (DPR) was considered a once in a lifetime opportunity that almost all pinoys didn’t want to miss.
A kind of gesture that no other theme park in a country in particular, has done before, as far as I know. That four-day promo sale was lit.

Note that the regular entrance fee for every park in DPR ranges from Dhs 175 – Dhs 245 per person for a day. But this Dhs 39 promo gave access to Legoland Dubai, Bollywood and Motion Gate parks.
If you watch my vlog, I don’t think you can spot locals or any other nationalities on that day. We literally flooded DPR on that one sunny Friday.
On behalf of the almost a million Filipino expats in the UAE, our sincerest THANK YOU to DPR for the opportunity to experience the rides and all, in that very minimal fees.
But let me just mention some suggestion perhaps?! Just in case the promo would happen again, I hope they’d find a way to improve the queueing system at the entrance. Good that my kids were big enough to sustain the heat because of the slow movement of the queue, but I saw some toddlers there too. It was just so hot!

Overall, it was undeniably a great experience for most of us. And with that, I now realized the benefit of having an annual pass. Considering how big DPR is, one day is not enough especially if you’ve got kids. Now is the time to start saving for an annual pass and I’d say, winter time is the best time to be in Dubai Parks and Resorts.
